Buffalo Chicken Wrap

Prep Time: 10 minutes

Makes: 1 large wrap

For the Buffalo Chicken Wrap

♦ 1 large flour tortilla

♦ shredded pieces of The Gambling Chef’s Buffalo Chicken Drumsticks, or other shredded chicken

♦ lettuce leaves

♦ sliced tomato, cut in halves

♦ sliced provolone or other cheese

♦ fresh dill or other fresh herbs

♦ The Gambling Chef’s Ranch dressing, or other ranch dressing

♦ The Gambling Chef’s Buffalo Sauce, or other Buffalo sauce

♦ Kosher salt for the tomatoes

 

Warm the flour tortilla in the microwave for 15 to 20 seconds, or until soft enough to roll.  Lay the tortilla on a flat surface and spoon a Tablespoon or two of ranch dressing on top.  Spread the dressing out all the way to the edges of the tortilla (this will be our glue to hold the wrap together).  Lay down a few pieces of lettuce and then add a few pieces of tomato.  Be sure to sprinkle a bit of salt over the tomatoes to bring out their flavor.  Pick off some small fronds of dill and sprinkle them over the lettuce and tomato.  Add pieces of shredded chicken to the wrap but be sure not to put them too close to the edges.  Spoon the Buffalo sauce over the chicken (a few teaspoons), then tear your cheese in large pieces and place them over the entire wrap.

To roll: begin at the top and then fold in the two sides a bit and roll the wrap over the tucked-in sides.  This is just like making a burrito but can be slightly trickier.  Keep rolling and tuck in any ingredients that try to squish out of the bottom.  When finished, let the wrap rest, seam side down, for at least 5 minutes - this will help the ranch dressing to glue your wrap closed.  Slice diagonally down the middle, serve with ranch dressing and buffalo sauce, and enjoy!
